Keeping equipment running, with less disruption to work.
Noise from the equipment room was reaching nearby workspaces, making everyday conversation and concentration difficult. This was the starting point for the project.
Our work
Working with the existing room layout, G-LINK carried out sound-isolation work on the walls, floor, ceiling, and door. The work considered these elements together to limit sound transmission beyond the equipment room.
The aim was not simply to address noise, but to support conversation and everyday work outside the room.
Equipment, service routes, and the existing layout all shaped the work. This project addressed operating noise affecting nearby workspaces, with the approach guided by conditions on site.
Our work
G-LINK carried out sound-isolation work on the walls, floor, ceiling, and door around the existing configuration, considering these elements together to reduce sound transmission to surrounding spaces.
Every room has different conditions, but the practical need is shared: equipment must operate, and people nearby need a suitable working environment.
